Oh god was it a waste of 20 bucks.... felt like I was watching a gay porn for the majority of the moive (which is nothing like the previews advertised).

So if you plan on taking your girlfriend out to a funny movie, please dont choose Bruno!!! It did have some funny parts, but it was knowhere near as good as Borat.

If you enjoy talking penisis, then I'm sure this movie is for you

Well the first movie was horrible. Never even thought about seeing Bruno.

Borat was great, Bruno sucked in comparison but I laughed.

I went with my friend, but I see how going with your girlfriend could be awkward.

Well Borat was a copy of a lot of the stuff in Ali G. but it was still good. I thought a lot of it was stupid but laughed my ass off at times also. Haven't seen Bruno yet though. Can't see myself spending $20 on this.

I downloaded it and only watched the first few mins and when the boyfriend action started i just started laughing and turned it off..

I think that anyone who sees this as gay porn really missed the point. Sasha Baron Cohen is making social statements. He's trying to be funny and say something. Personally, Bruno wasn't that well done, but it wasn't because it was disgusting, it's because it wasn't exploring prejudice as much as it became about being disruptive and very invasive. Some of the reactions weren't reactions to the fact Bruno was flamingly gay as much as they were about people just being shocked that anyone would act that way.

Borat was really good, Bruno wasn't.

Agreed, Borat is really nicely done in tackling the social tumours while being funny and invasive. On the other hand..Bruno wasn't that progressive, and some of the features are much more being there for being there's sake...
