revisit of the darkfall question
Anyone playing now that it has been launched and is coming soon to the US? I keep looking at it, but for every post I read about how good it is, I ready 2 more that say its not. I know the only way to know for myself is to try it, but I really dont want to waste $50 to find out it's got no depth at all.

Honestly, save your money. Unless you like a ridiculous grind-fest, AFK macro'ing, and running around naked with a polearm... avoid it. Plus, there are hackers everywhere too.
If you want though, I can sell you my account for $25. I am always avidly against selling my game accounts... never know when you might want to go back. However, I know for a fact I will never EVER return to Darkfall. hah

As I know probably noone here are playing darkfall. And well, what different answers are you hoping to hear about DF here in AI forums?
I may sound harsh but this is pointless thread... The discussion like that would fit more IRC than forums IMO. And there is really alot of stuff to read about DF in the internet. I just don't want to trash out these forums, I want to keep them at very high quality...

agree, darkfall had great potential but sadly failed hard. had they givent it maybe another 6months of beta testing it could turned out good but atm, darkfall aint realy live even if they bill u for it but u are more or less a beta tester.

Agreed, it does sound harsh, considering this was posted in the "other games" section, which I thought was a forum for discussing, Other Games...my apologizes for invoking discussion. |

Yet SRPattison and Galem answered. Chill out people, it's just a forum, not a repositery for perfect ideas and walls of text. 
About DF, I was tempted to buy an account too, but then I heard about hackers. Kinda killed it for me. If I'm to play a player-driver game, then I want every player to have the same chances in game.

Yea! ...plus some of us are to damned lazy to get in IRC and see these questions lol...I do read the forums every day though so post away.
On topic: DFO sucked. Lots of good ideas. Sadly they failed in the delivery. |
