As some of you might have noticed I have not been playing a lot of AoC after the new patch. The main reason for that was that the game was simply unplayable for me. Hit detection was terrible and very inconsistent and everything felt sort of laggy, even tho my fps/ping were fine.
So basically I started looking for configs that might make my gaming experience better and I found this:

It should increase your FPS quite a bit and make hit detection better. Also it has a dual-core optimization (pressing F10 in the game toggles it on and off).
Furthermore, one thing you will have to tweak on your own, since it depends on your PC, is your "choke" and "loss". A guide for that can be found here:
Fish Tank Clan: Content / CSS / Fix CSS Lag: Choke Loss and Ping
To make this work you need to:
a) make a new Notepad file
b) copy the config (everything inside the quote) into the file
c) save it as autoexec.cfg
d) put the file in: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\"your user name"\age of chivalry\ageofchivalry\cfg
I also uploaded my cfg file to the dropbox, so if you don't want to change anything, just take it from there and copy it into the directory given above. If you wish to edit the cfg file, simply open it with Notepad.
Edit:
After putting this config in, I went into the /SS/ server to test it out. I played with a longbow man and had about a 3/2 kill ratio by the end of the round. Everyone on the server was from their clan and I think they are fairly good players. Nothing remarkable, but before the new conf I had a hard time getting a positive ratio.
