Default Aegis Arcade

Welcome to the Aegis Arcade!

This is a project where guild members; or even some specific members of the community gather together in order to have some friendly fun over the internet in any game of their choosing. We will be using a program called "Hamachi". What it does, is emulate a network connection (LAN) over the internet, and it is very easy to use; generally only requiring you to turn it on; and join a channel (If you managed to get IRC to work; then this will seem like a walk in the park).

The point of this is to create bonds between members of the Imperium, which can only form under stressful situations. Though never forgetting "Just to have some good old fun".

Link to download Hamachi: http://hamachi.en.softonic.com/

All you have to do is choose a nick name and after that press the circular button and "Join a Network"

Network Name: Aegis Arcade
Network Password: Adjutant

Once inside you will be able to see who is online at that time, and to get a game going, just msg the person and agree on a game. In the section below I will be gathering each person's game library.

I got rid of most of my games when I last moved, but the only non mmo I have installed at the moment is Dark Messiah.

We could all play a free mmo like Fury, it's supposed to be skill based and no grind just pvp.

How about Day of Defeat? It's been getting a lot of love from valve recently, and I must admit that I like it a lot.

DoD was fun, but I don't have the files required to play it anymore and don't know what I should dl.

Oh! and there's Enemy Territory too! Awesome game.

If you're talking about the free one that was the spiritual sequel to Wolfenstein:

YES! Oh dear god yes. That game was what i lived and breathed for the first three years of high school. Too bad most of the servers are filled with bots nowadays...

I'll definitely join you for a night of nazi killing, then.

And I agree on the new one. It strayed too far from what made ET actually fun.

I could join up for any free game you can find. I never buy shooters, and rarely any other games that can be played in multiplayer, so I've a pretty much non-existent collection of those. Anyone ever played any soldat? It's a free 2d multiplayer shooter game, and pretty fun as well

I can cough up a link to at least half a dozen free MMOs (real ones, not MapleStory ^^). Trouble is almost all of them are level-based, even when PvP is their mainstay...

I won't be able to play much for now, as we're moving out of our house on August 18th and I'll be out of an Internet connection ('cept at work) until we move into our new house on October 1st. It'll be quite a challenge to survive without a PC at home for almost 3 months.
