Call of Duty 4 @ Hamachi

Looking for the possible interest in playing some Call of Duty 4 over Hamachi, legal or Illegal i don't care, just looking for people who would like to play some

Perhaps challenge the MO devs one day? We'll practise in secrecy though, until then so don't mention it

I'd definitely be interested. CoD4 is one of the main games that I current play online though I don't know what this Hamachi is. Unfortunately though, my ping is already pretty horrible within Australia (90-100 ms), so when playing overseas I can imagine it skyrocketing even more.

But we'll just have to see on the servers. I already have a legit copy of CoD4 but if you can give me more details of this Hamachi thing, that'll be awesome.

Would be in for CoD 4 - legit version too

Have played CoD since the first part and it is one of my favorite shooter series.
After the Return to Castle Wolfenstein Comm was splitted by Enemy Territory I started with CoD and although I dont play as much as in the beginning I just love this game!

I'll be happy to play some CoD4. Haven't touched if for almost half a year, but I still have it installed with all the correct settings and I think I even have the right mouse setup saved on my mouse. So I'm good to go whenever...

I'd like to play this as a strategy practice, form teams and work together with one strategy. One person could be the strategist leader giving orders to team. Fun and teamwork practice at the same time

Sorry for being absent, my PC screen died a horrible death 2 days ago and now i had to pay overprice to retain a cable of appropriate manners for my other reserve screen.. But i'm back now and I have yet to buy CoD4 (I Have a copy of a friend's with a fake serial) but I fully intend to buy it as it is one of the best in it's genre.

I have some other friends who enjoy it aswell, one of them is somewhat obsessed so maybe we could get the player count up a bit? I'm on 100/10mbit so i could probably host, depending on the ping..

Regarding Hamachi, it's quite simple; Creating fake "LAN networks" over the internet to avoid having to purchase games, it's what I do before buying a game that is heavily based on multiplay since I believe today's quality bar is far too low to go out and hopefully buy a game that lives up to expectations!
Hamachi

Basically you create Passworded "LAN-rooms" where everyone in the room shares everything as if it was over a Local area network. We'll invite everyone we trust, and i'll tell you guys how to disable file sharing (as is standard in windows LAN protocols) so nobody will be leeching off from your shared folders

Oh, and by the way, get Call of Duty 4 (version 1.6) to play the most recent version without the CD in (MegaGames - The Hardcore Gaming Experience has plenty of convenient ''cracks'' (All legal of course))

And then, create a nickname on Hamachi, press "Join a channel" and write "MortalOnline" and put the password as "1234"
Remember it's case sensitive!

If anyone wants to play on an official server then count me in but I refuse playing on Hamachi.

What's wrong with playing on Hamachi? We just had a few games, me and Ariae vs Seb and Max. Was fun, we owned them. ^__^

I don't mind playing on official servers as well tho.
