Dawn of War 2

Warhammer 40k Dawn of War 2 has been in open beta for 3 days now.

Some of us have played it already. I personally like it and will probably buy it.

All you need to do to play with us is:
- download and install steam
- create a steam account
- find DoW 2 within the steam client and download it (automatic install)
- Launch the game
- create a Games for Windows Live account if you don't have one already (Xbox Live accounts are compatible).
- tell us you got it. ^^

I'm pretty busy on Saturday. I've already played it for 7 hours. So if you guys are on on Sunday we can set up a few games.

Was great fun playing yesterday, even though the last match lasted forever!
And this comes from a guy that never plays RTS's since he sucks at them ^^

I'm a big Warhammer 40k fan (my favorite fictional setting) and was playing with my buddy in Beta since the start. Been a ride with some complaints but overall the game is fun online. Currently there is a population cap bug and the Tyranids need some tweaking but I'm online if any of you guys need a team.

My friend and I play together but we need 3rd party members for 3v3 from time to time.

I hate this game, I had high hopes for another standard RTS but nope they had to rock the boat and create Dawn of War 2, to be honest I prefer the first one.

New patch coming tonight (well for me that is) to balance things out a bit. Been playing it casually for a while now and though it isn't as good as the first one, I still had some nice battles with friends. If the patch fixes some balancing stuff I bet I'll play some more. If interested Gopsje is my Live tag.

I played dow2 but was dissappointed and didn't end up buying. I also preferred the first one as well. What were they trying to achieve with the new style?
