I haven't even bought it yet. I am considering buying it sometime next week, but I just have not had the time to do much else besides MO in my free time... *curses the latest wipe*

I've played it a bit and I'm having big hit detection issues. At times I can take out enemy snipers from a very long range with less than half a clip with my assault rifle. Other times I see an enemy a few meters away and empty a whole clip into them and they just don't die.

I've heard some people are experiencing similar problems, yet others have no issues with hit detection (my guess is some of them simply don't realize they are having problems and think they are just crap at aiming).

From what I've heard form people who've played the console demo, it's a lot better and doesn't have any of the problems PC users are experiencing in beta currently. So I hope they will have a PC demo and if the hit detection problems don't occur for me there, I think I'm gonna get the game.

All in all tho, the game is great fun, especially if you get a good team together.

Well today is the big day! Let's hope that Steam has the download ready by the time the work day is through!

If anyone is interested, I started up a Steam Group intended for friends and workmates. There's really no rules or objectives for the group other than to (ideally) join the same servers and form up in squads. So feel free to join if interested!

And I know I asked this before but would it be possible to have a channel on the mumble server dedicated to games other than MO?
Heck, do we even have permission to use the server (and share it with non-members) when playing something other than MO?

I just don't want to be rude or presumptuous about this.
(Though, yes, there is built-in VOIP in BF: BC2 but it's so inferior to mumble that it's hardly worth mentioning)

The majority of current TKO members are located in the northeast United States so if you get a chance, scout us out a nice low ping East Coast (or better yet, Chicago) server, Mas!

DaWheels and I prefer to use mumble. If you're cool with that then I say let's just use mumble. I'll try to get the other 2 guys in TKO to get it installed ASAP.

P.S. I updated the TKO profile with a roster that mentions our locations. Basically we'll want a low latency Central or Eastern server along the northern half of the country.
