so they are like upgrading aion to crytek 3,

adding flying mounts and normal mounts which you get my taming.. any animal can be a mount basically..

and they are adding player housing and guild walls.. spose to be completely customizable with modules and furniture made by carpenters or whatever the woodworking thing was...

and they are putting dynamic weather and dynamic lighting and dynamic seasons

and they are changing combat to be more action like age of conans system

basically there redoing the whole game lol

from the korean forums what they are doing in this:

* Major Graphics Overhaul: DX10 included
* Player Housing
* Combat Revamp: The game will play out more like an action game (think Blade & Soul)
* Weather System Revamp
* Swimming
* Under Water Environments: Players will be able to explore new under water cities, dungeons, and quest hubs
* User Generated Content Expanded: Players will be able to post writs on boards through out the world.
* Quest System revamp: Many, many, many more quests and story-line quests are being added
* New Classes (Supposedly, according to the Korean forums)
* 2 new weapon types: Whip & Crossbow
* New Skills for every class
* New Zones
* New Monster and NPC AI Revamp
* Mounts: You can tame your own mount out of various creatures in Atreia, one of which is a Chocobo-Esque bird, you also will be able to ride with 2 people on some mounts!
* Revamped Sieges

It's not even high fantasy, at least in high fantasy there is some lore and depth in the backgroud, Aion is just a pile of random stuff mixed with emo elves with wings ...

I would say high fantasy = Wheel of Time, LOTR, Warcraft kind of settings,
on the other hand low fantasy would be Mortal, Song of Ice and Fire, etc.
