AI Steam Group
Aegis Imperium now has a steam community page.
http://steamcommunity.com/groups/AegisImperium
Currently we play Age of Chivalry, with Lachry and Skirm being the most active. Come join us; and lets play some games together. I go by Shinzon in steam groups as well; add me, and tell me your guild name; and I will add you to the AI group.
Happy Gaming.

Hey now! I'm more active, just in another timezone.
Btw you should put the guild logo in the steam group profile pic.

Re: AI Steam Group
Since I got AoC I've been playing a lot with lightsaber. I hope others join as well, it's been real fun for me too, and in fact I think I've found my fighting style thanks to it, which might end up in MO as well Oh well, I hope to see others there soon as well. If we get everyone together we might have a real good brawl there. Things like teamwork are generally lacking, so long as i've been playing, but i can see the potential of the game in training that.

Re: AI Steam Group
Yeah, teamwork, in most cases, is non existent in public servers, as it is in pretty much every FPS game.
The biggest problem I see with the game is that there's no team auto-balance. Many people leave or jump teams when they start loosing. It's rather frustrating to give it your all to complete objectives and then realize that half the opposing team has left or joined yours. Only thing left to do then is change teams and try to help the loosing side out. I'm all for fighting against the odds, I rather enjoy it to be honest. What I don't enjoy tho is working hard to achieve goals and then having to simply give it all away by swapping teams.
There is hope tho, I read on their forums, that auto-balance is at the top of the list for the AoC development team and that it should come out with the next patch. No clue when the patch is coming tho.

Re: AI Steam Group
i wish they would speed up the animations.. that and when you pull out your sword, i hate how he waves it around for a couple seconds before you can actually do anything with it..

Yeah, true, that is rather annoying. I have no idea why they have such a system, only reason I could think of is that its some sort of balancing issue and they don't want people to be able to swap weapons quickly.

Re: AI Steam Group
Personaly, I think they should half the time everything takes to do in AoC; because every actions feels like it's done in molasis.

Re: AI Steam Group
I actually think the pace is pretty right, once you get used to it. The slow pace gives you more time to think, so it's not just reflex bashing. Still, if you don't react to the other guy's attack in like 50 milliseconds, you're toast. Especially if the other guy is good and manages a headshot all the time :/
