New game on steam. Its a strategic game like Civ from Maxis. Ubisoft put it out. Really good visuals and game play so far. I am enjoying it but I know the genre doesnt attract everyone. Give it a look if its your thing.

Also known as Anno1404. It's indeed some sort of City builder with some nice touches. Love the game and got the collector's edition myself

To bad they killed the multiplayer

i did the demo, game was pretty good.
just no spare money, need to save for MO LE.

Man this game sure knows how to waste a lot of my time. Besides just playing for fun the game begs me to get the medals and achievements. Love it

Plays exactly like Settlers. The dialogue/voice acting is essentially the same. Evil characters just as painfully obviously evil the moment you see them just as always. Graphics not exactly the same but similar. Demo doesn't get far enough into the builds to know whether combat sucked as much as it did in Settlers. Basically, Settlers VII, but under a different name.

Still a fun game though.

Combat is kinda the same but the late tier building is much more complex than settlers ever thought about being. It takes forever to build everything you need to advance into Noblemen. The different islands have certain kinds of things you can grow on each of them so you have to expand and set up trade routes or you can't succeed which can make people come over and roll your ass quick.
