This reminded me of something I saw earlier today. Whilst browsing the magazine shelf for my usual PC flick, I stumbled across a new magazine called Online Gamer that had a full boxed copy of Age of Conan sitting on the cover. Turns out they're giving away the game for free!

That's really sad. They also sent out these 14 day subscription renewals so you can get your old character back.

It's sad that Funcom didn't take the time to release that game in a decent manner. Instead the released a horribly buggy game that made Baby Jesus want to cry...

..and look now..they're giving their game away free even though they have fixed it (from what I've heard its not bad anymore)
