I'm introducing myself, I'm Stex member of a french multigaming association orKs e-sports.
I'm in charge to inform my guild of Mortal evolutions and I will go in the beta (preorder) to test the game for my guild. I'm pretty sure that Mo will be a great Mmo_sandbox. So we will play on it. We're pvp players and like play in small groups. We will wear our orKs tag on MO, but we want to have some connection with bigger guild. I'm impress by your guild and the time you're improving the Mo community. So I want to know if you're are interest by a sort of friendship.
We've a group of good players, mature (average 22yo), with experience of Mmo. We're brained, I mean we like help to build something strong like your empire. We know the value of a tag and we think before we act. We will appreciate have some trade/craft exchange but we prefer to be used as a offensive force. Indeed, we arn't enough to make and manage a big city but we can be part of the defence (defend city, protect convoy, help crafter to get scroll) and the attack (harass ennemy exchange line, block colonization, or be part of an army if a big war begin).
We have also, some player (as I am) who like explore the world, descover new road (and embuscade spot ) or be crafter but not as main activity.

Wellcome to the Aegis Imperium forums Stex. What you are proposing sounds interesting, but I am not good at Diplomatic chatter so I will just suggest you to wait for more "higher" people to come here and comment. This probably be, let's say, after 3-7 hours (Shinzon is sleeping atm).

I am in the same boat as Stump when it comes to diplomatic matters being only a citizen, but let me just say that your proposal was very well written and thought out. If the rest of your members are of the same caliber I would definitely see a positive relationship forming.

What is your guild's opinion on player killing?

In other MMO, We like challenge, so in fact we prefer be in 1orks vs 2 others and we really dislike grey-kill (unless we have a really hard day at work ... but every one as a weakness ) ! Killing is a part of training for us and we like to improve ourselves.
Even if we're orKs, we don't kill whatever is moving !

Personnaly, I'm really interest by Mo's challenge : if you play badly, you be kill and loose things (in opposite with game lolilol_i_fight_withou_risks)

In fact, I think when we know who are our ennemies, we begin to embush, harass and killing stuff. Some of us like rush, others like plan (I really like to plan tactical embush). I read on "answered questions topic" that the will be no teleport things and poiting maps so the knowledge of a area really count and I think about great guerilla mouvements ! Indeed, when you attack a convoy, by the time renforcement arrived (no tp/map/tchat etc) you will be far away. Moreover, you can loose our opponents in a forest !!!

I'd say, that from all the time i've spent in AI, I don't think our priorities lay within having allies.

You have to consider the risks being taken inviting a whole guild into the city walls; it might invite a huge advantage for opposing forces to stab us at point blank, so it'd need to be evaluated.

Although, we have a guild citizenship program which means your guild can apply and live in the empire, but as stump and snc2007 said this is probably something for either Admiralnlson or Shinzon, or some of the older culture members.

More than be a part of your city, is more than be a additionnal force against your annemies : The squads who're doing the "dirty jobs", when you can't (don't want) to spoil your hands or when you want something that you can't take by yourself (political reason) !
We don't need money, we need mission, ennemies, challenge !

The main reason of my post is to etablish contact, because when we etablish contact we become "friend" and so we know our ennemies (friend's ennemies, are our ennemies !).
We just want to have a reference point to positionning ourselves.
