Ooooh, thanks all of you! It was my 21st, so I definitely had a good one! Watched shitload of movies before heading out for loads of wine + Champagne and Cheesecake.
It was great.
On a side note... to address my absence.
An opportunity has arisen for me, one which I have spent the last month and a half or so working out kinks and ironing out plans. I can't really go into details, but it would involve a big move to Washington, D.C., a change in schools and a different Major. Basically meaning the last 3 years or so of University for me have been a waste. That also means that all the money spent on University for the last 3 years has been wasted, and this new opportunity will cost me an order of magnitude more for one year that the last 3 combined...
To sum it up, I have to secure funds, fill out a mountain of paperwork, and jump through flaming hoops in nothing but my underwear... figuratively speaking. In short, this is a life-changing opportunity that will require many sacrifices on my part. Most of which is my time, and the money in my wallet. That said, if I make this transition, I will no longer have time for online games. At least, not for a game that would require so much of my dedication as Mortal. Although it saddens me to have to give up the thing that has been my favorite past time over the previous decade, it is time for me to start looking toward the future, my future.
It is very possible that things *may* not work out the way I hope that they do. I won't know for sure for at least another 6-8 weeks. Should that be the case, expect to see me again around that time.
For now, I scan the forums a few times a week, and try to keep up with MO news.
